No. However, in order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) according to âù´ºÔºÊÓƵ’s SAP policy. Students with more than 104 credits (if associate-degree-seeking) or more than 53 credits (if certificate-seeking) are not considered to be meeting the SAP policy. Typically students with previous degrees are exceeding these credit limits and so must appeal their financial aid standing with âù´ºÔºÊÓƵ. In the event that an appeal is successful, the student can then apply for the Wyoming Works scholarship as well.

Yes – students whose placement levels put them in developmental courses can have those courses covered by the grant, as long as they are enrolled in an eligible program and the courses are required to progress in that program.

Currently, all of âù´ºÔºÊÓƵ’s eligible programs meet the criteria for the Critical Grant funding level, based on workforce needs.

Applicants will be asked to apply for admission to âù´ºÔºÊÓƵ, complete the , and complete the Wyoming Works application. The Wyoming Works application must be submitted prior to the first class day of the semester in an approved WW program to qualify for that semester. If a student applies after the semester starts, they will be considered for the following semester.

Yes; students must file a (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as part of their application for the Wyoming Works grant. As a result of filing a FAFSA, students may also be awarded other federal or institutional aid, and can accept those awards in addition to the Wyoming Works grant. Yes. Students are not required to attend full-time to be eligible for the grant. However, the amount of the grant may be prorated based on a student’s actual cost of attendance (which is less when taking fewer credits), and students should be aware of the limit of six semesters of eligibility.

No. The grant will only cover courses that are actually required for the eligible programs (including developmental-level courses that may be required depending on a student’s placement).
