Physical Science Program
Understanding our world, from galaxies to particles, is the basis of studying physical science. That understanding can lead to discoveries that improve our lives - medical advancements, life-changing technology and more.
What will I learn?
The Physical Sciences Program introduces students to a focus on the properties and behavior of matter. Students will think on a microscopic level about the structure of atoms and molecules, and how those relate to macroscopic observations. Students will become problem-solvers, learning how to critically analyze and breakdown complex problems.
Students in this program will study biology, chemistry, geology, physics, GIS, English and math. Physical Science courses at 怡春院视频 include extensive hands-on experience with common lab procedures.
Associate of Science
The Physical Science program prepares students for careers in a dynamic spectrum of fields, including but not limited to chemistry and geoscience. Recent advancements have led to expanded employment opportunities for scientists in a field of physical science. Students who complete this program achieve an Associate of Science degree with anticipated transfer to a four-year university. Students interested in a physical science field may choose to follow the curriculum outlined in this program as recommended by their Pathway Student Success Coach.
Available at the Cheyenne main campus.
