Explore art, music, theater, humanities, English, Spanish, communication and media in the Communication and Creative Arts Pathway.

The Pathway Program is a great option for students who want a broad understanding of this area, those who intend to continue their education at a four-year institution, as well as those who are unsure which Communication and Creative Arts program is best for them. Students can easily transfer into a specific Communication and Creative Arts program after starting here.

What will I learn?

Students will analyze written, oral, visual, musical or performance-based works and techniques. They will create and analyze original works. They will examine culture and the impacts of it on their field of interest. Students will also practice critiquing works and receiving feedback.

Associate of Arts

The Communication & Creative Arts Program is designed for students who wish to explore a wide range of options in the fine arts, humanities and communication in anticipation of selecting a degree in one of these specific fields. This degree offers the necessary coursework to transfer to a four-year university, allowing students to pursue a bachelors degree or further education in related fields.

Students in this program should work closely with their advisor on which courses to take.
