Commitment.When I think about the past year at Laramie County Community College, these words resonate deeply with the work we have been doing and the experiences we have been creating. These concepts aren鈥檛 new. They have been rooted in the development and foundation of the institution for more than 50 years. As Raymond Gilmartin says, 鈥淎t various points in your careers, you will be called to take a risk. And I think you will find, as I have found, those will be the times of your greatest opportunities.鈥 We have certainly taken some risks, but they have created big opportunities that continue to inspire our work at 怡春院视频.
Emeritus title bestowed on Kathleen Urban for contributions to 怡春院视频. It wasn鈥檛 clear to Kathleen Urban when she started the paralegal program at Laramie County Community College in 1988 that it would last more than five or 10 years. But today, her legacy and impact on the college is clear, with the difference she鈥檚 made manifesting in students with their lives put on upward trajectories to this day.
Mobile labs enhance education and spread excitement. Laramie County Community College sophomore Natanya Sam, who studies physical sciences, says it鈥檚 important to show young people that being a scientist, engineer or whatever they want in the STEM field is within their grasp.

The Concept Forge is an innovative makerspace in the college鈥檚 recently established Advanced Manufacturing and Material Center designed to facilitate creativity and learning in manufacturing in southeast Wyoming.

Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne hosts the SEEK program for youth, offering a diverse array of summer classes for kids ages 6-12 designed to spark creativity and learning in arts and sciences. Children can enroll in week-long sessions that include everything from fitness and gaming to engineering and Spanish language immersion.
True Troupe, the Cheyenne-based theatre production company co-founded by sisters Adrianna and Amber True, is poised for a remarkable year ahead. The troupe, driven by a commitment to showcase captivating forms of entertainment across various genres and styles, has become an integral part of southeast Wyoming's thriving arts community.
Alejandro Romero鈥檚 startup, Cultivate LLC, began its most ambitious project yet in early April: constructing a 40-foot-long by 14-foot-wide greenhouse with a 12-foot ceiling. The project, taking shape at a residence just north of Cheyenne, was commissioned by a customer Romero met at a local restaurant. This marks a significant step forward for Cultivate, which is carving out its niche in sustainable agriculture.
