Laramie County Community College President Joe Schaffer, the Board of Trustees and and special guests break ground 鈥� or in this case drywall 鈥� on a renovation and expansion of the Blue Federal Credit Union Recreation & Athletics Complex (RAC). The RAC, built in 1971, is one of the oldest buildings on campus, seeing only minor improvements and structural updates in the last half century.

Tyler Garrison knows how important it was to have someone in his corner while he navigated his higher education. Today, as a Student Success Coach at Laramie County Community College, Garrison said he鈥檚 happy to have the opportunity to help students in the same way.

Going to college wasn鈥檛 always a part of Jack Lance鈥檚 life plan. But during his sophomore year of high school in Green River, Wyoming, he was inspired to pursue a career as a sound engineer.
All eyes were toward the future when the ribbon was cut at the Advanced Manufacturing and Material Center at Laramie County Community College. The Advanced Manufacturing and Material Center, or AMMC, will serve as a facility to train new workers to meet the needs of the region鈥檚 current manufacturing industry. It will offer a location for the current workforce to receive training, a need not previously being met in the region. Dignitaries and guests came to 怡春院视频鈥檚 campus April 14 for a first look at the facility.

It felt like his journey as an artist came full circle when Laramie County Community College graduate Kevin Phillips delivered his artist talk at the college.
For Thomas Lear, there鈥檚 more to the adult education program at Laramie County Community College than academics. Lear is the lead instructor for English as a Second Language and civics courses in ACES, which stands for Adult and Career Education Services. ACES is designed to help students develop the skills necessary for continued education or meaningful employment through combined training in academics, communication skills and college and career transitions.
